These covers are available in our Premium strong quality outdoor waterproof 500 denier polyester fabric or our Deluxe stronger outdoor waterproof and breathable UV stabilised 750 denier polyester fabric.

Premium quality waterproof strong 500 denier polyester fabric. This fabric is a strong outdoor weatherproof fabric ideal for covering items such as barbeques and firepits. Please note this fabric will eventually fade if left in direct sunlight over a period of time, however this does not affect the durability of the covers so will still protect your items. Please note that no covers on the market can totally protect against moisture/condensation forming underneath the covers. Condensation forms due to temperature changes which is sometimes mistaken for leakage. For garden furniture covers we recommend our Deluxe quality fabric.

Deluxe quality waterproof stronger and breathable 750 denier polyester fabric. This is our best outdoor weatherproof fabric with its breathability and durability makes it ideal fabric to protect expensive garden furniture. The fabric is also UV stabilised so the cover should keep its colour for longer. Being breathable can help towards preventing condensation forming underneath the covers. Please note that no covers on the market can totally protect against moisture/condensation forming underneath the covers. Condensation forms due to temperature changes which is sometimes mistaken for leakage. Our breathable fabric helps release condensation trapped underneath the covers however we do recommend airing covers off every so often.

Please note cushions should never be left under the cover for any length of time as they may get damaged by condensation forming under the cover. Ideally cushions should be stored away in a dry environment like in a shed or garage.

I was looking for a waterproof cover for all year use that would allow us to cover our round table with 4 chairs in place. After looking at lots of cheap covers with very mixed reviews (and some very expensive ones!), I decided to go with the 750D option from Bags and Covers Direct. The cover was shipped very efficiently and large enough to easily slide over our round table with 4 chairs in place (table is 133 cm diameter; combined dia with chairs is 189 cm). It's been in place for about 3 weeks including periods of sustained heavy rain. As recommended, I installed a pole to raise the middle of the cover so the rain runs off (I used a length of 40 mm plastic waste pipe through the table's parasol hole, cut a hole in an old tennis ball and pushed it on the top of the pipe so the cover does not rub against the pipe). The cover is really excellent. Strong, thick material with a waterproof layer inside. It's soft and flexible - not plasticky and crackly. It looks smart and stitching is strong and very neat (which to me suggests careful work). There are 4 draw cords at the bottom that you can pull tight and hook under table or chair legs so the cover does not blow off. Waterproofing is excellent - water beads on the surface of the material. Inevitably, some pooling of rain occurs in folds of the material and despite this the table and chairs underneath are bone dry. I'm really, really pleased with it and I really cannot see how it could be bettered.
